some more portrait studies
this a Norman Rockwell copy: like the eyes but the mouth got a little twisty. It's hard to embrace the schmaltz he dealt in but he sure could paint.

been a regular at Hipbone Studio lately. Some of these suffer from difficulty seeing facial detail
from 20 feet, especially eyes.


some scale issues on the last -gave her a withered arm.
a Washington Park landscape which I've fussed over for 2 months. It defies an accurate photo.
a still life from a WetCanvas image -pretty much all with a flat soft brush. It went so well, unlike my
usual still lifes I figured I'd throw together one of my own.
Which became one of those time traps that I dread. The more I fuss with detail the deader it all gets.
